Plumbing Repair FAQs
How quickly can you come out for a repair?
We offer same-day service across the Northshore and answer emergency calls 24/7. Call (225) 500-6696 and we will give you a realistic arrival window rather than a vague promise.
What are the signs of a slab leak?
The usual signs are a warm or damp spot on the floor, the sound of running water when every fixture is off, an unexplained jump in your water bill, or a drop in water pressure. Slab leaks rarely fix themselves, so it is worth having one located early before it undermines the foundation.
Do you charge for an estimate?
Estimates are free. We look at the problem, explain what is causing it, and give you an upfront quote before any work begins so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Can this be repaired, or do I need a full replacement?
It depends on the age and condition of the system. A single failure in otherwise sound piping is usually worth repairing. Repeated leaks in the same run, heavy corrosion, or aging galvanized lines usually mean replacement is the better long-term value. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in.
Do you handle emergency repairs after hours?
Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency plumbing across Mandeville, Covington, Slidell and Hammond. Burst pipes, major leaks and sewer backups do not wait for business hours, and neither do we.
What should I do while I wait for the plumber?
For an active leak, shut off the water at the main valve and open a low faucet to drain pressure from the line. If water is near electrical outlets or panels, cut power to that area first. Then move anything valuable clear of the water and leave the rest to us.
